A Facility Like No Other
What Efficiency Really Means

"William revealed that the greatest aspect of the new facility is that it has palpably raised the level of their customer service, which he confessed was of most importance to himself and the company."With seven years experience as a food industry copy writer and journalist, I have had the privilege of being introduced and becoming fairly intimate with some of the finest, highest quality vendors, restaurateurs, chefs, and distribution companies the world has to offer. Therefore when word comes my way that a person or company is doing something extraordinary I cannot help but to be instantly curious, while admittedly skeptical at the same time.

On more than a handful of occasions the topic of Ace Endico, and their irreproachable, class A facilities had come up. Indeed, it got to the point where if I heard someone use the term ‘State-of-the-Art’ when referring to their newly technically perfected premises one more time, I thought I was going to scream. It was at this point when I realized I would have to investigate the matter first hand.

Driving onto the grounds of Ace Endico was like crossing a border from the regular world where things are often chaotic, messy, and uninviting into a realm where everything seems to shine with well thought planning and engineering. At this initial observation I immediately found myself rather intimidated at the idea of meeting the company themselves. Surely with this kind of precision and attention to detail they would have to be a bunch of uptight, pretentious know-it-alls.

I was definitely caught off guard when the three top company headsCEO William A. Endico, President Murray Hertzberg, and Vice President Michael Endico all came to the lobby to greet me with smiles on their faces and warm salutations as if I was a long lost cousin.

After we all sat down to a fine cup of coffee and a generous platter of pastries, I learned that the new Ace facility has allowed the company to greatly expand their already vast product line, while increasing efficiency at the same time. I was then taken on a tour by none other than CEO William A. Endico himself.

As I was shown every sparkling, mouth dropping nook and cranny of ‘planet’ Ace Endico, (including the gorgeous employee locker room and fitness center,) William revealed that the greatest aspect of the new facility is that it has palpably raised the level of their customer service, which he confessed was of most importance to himself and the company.

I was amazed to discover that Ace’s warehouse and storage space equalled more than 100,000 Sq. Ft and included eleven separate temperature zones. (No wonder everyone is remarking on how everything from Ace is always so fresh.) This, along with, high tech backup generator systems and Technology UPS Logistics and GPS Routing Nextel helped me better understand the companies ever growing and flawless reputation.

What really put me over the top was their gorgeous full test kitchen with a 75 seat seminar room, and I have to admit, when I saw 15 of Aces stunning, freshly polished Freightliners, each pulled into their own immaculately clean, spacious dock, I got excited like a little kid and secretly wanted to drive one!

So alas, the skeptic journalist in me was happily won over by the ultra spectacular new facilities of Ace Endico. This coupled with the generously helpful, informative and gregarious nature of the company themselves had me sold on what all the fuss had been about. Indeed, I have no doubt that I will be singing their praises to some unassuming stranger in the very near future.
